Some of the fabulous boutique vendors from the Spring 2012 show...


Special Features Artophile (Booth 4-02) will be bringing a New-York-worthy mini-exhibition and sale (about 12-14 pieces) of Sonia Delaunay works on paper. Delaunay was the first living woman ever to be honoured with a retrospective at the Louvre! Delaunay's works are right up there with Picasso, Chagall, Matisse, Masson, etc. in importance; her works on paper are highly collectible and not easily available.

Pollikers (Booth 6-07) We are thrilled to announce the return of one of Canada's best "country" vendors, Gerry Marks' - Pollikers. Gerry has been sourcing and selling amazing one-of-a-kind furniture, folk art and pine from the Maritimes for decades. Gerry's stock is so in demand that he rarely ventures far from home (just outside Toronto). It's been 6 years since his last visit to Ottawa - so don't miss it!

Frederick's Persian Carpets (Booth 8-07) Every winter our favourite fine carpet retailer, packs his bags and heads "home" to Scotland. From there Fred, plans his carpet buying strategy with trips to exotic lands to find truly gorgeous "works of art". Here is some of the bounty that Fred will have at the show... 14ft by 10 ft handwoven rug using vegetable dyes - a contempary design in the Zeigler style. 13ft by 10ft pictorial Persian Kashmar rug - an outstanding piece. Several tribal pieces, highly sought after, from the province of Hamadan many of which depicting ancient Persian symbols within the design. Select pieces which will be being shown for the first time.
Private Collection (Booth 1-06) Very cool collection of rare rock memorabilia including signed guitars, lithographs (The Who, Peter Gabriel), Gold Records etc.

Treasure Hut (Booth 8-01) In addition to the great colourful china and wonderful jewellery that Treasure Hut offers - this year they will be bringing something extra- a selection of fabulous hats - something straight out of "Mad Men!
Reflections of Tyme-The Iron Garden (Booth 8-05) Niagara-on-the-Lake area retailer Stan and Anne Sachar will be making their first appearance in Ottawa. Great garden decor items will abound. Arbors, Statuary, Pedestals and Seating are just a few of the items that will be on hand.
Britannic (Booth 2-03) Jordan Ontario's Britannic has a treasure trove of sumptuous antique furniture and furnishings. Far right- Welsh Cupboard, Oak, 2 piece Welsh Dresser c1920-1940 in original finish. 60" wide 84 " high. Near right - Marble Top French Cabinet
